Supporting young people and families in Oldham<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Freshminds is a community-led organisation working to prevent and relieve poverty and financial hardship, primarily in Oldham and neighbouring areas where support is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We support young people and families with practical help, education, training, mentoring and digital inclusion. Our work helps people access essential services, build useful skills, improve confidence and move closer to self-sufficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Freshminds believes that no young person or family should be left behind because of poverty, lack of support or limited access to opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Freshminds was created to provide practical support for young people and families facing hardship. We understand that poverty can affect many parts of life, including food, home essentials, education, confidence, employment and access to online services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our work focuses on meeting urgent needs while also helping people plan for a better future. This means providing emergency food and essential household items where needed, alongside education, training, mentoring and digital support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We want people to feel supported, respected and able to take the next step. Whether someone needs help accessing services, improving digital skills, building confidence or finding a route into learning and work, Freshminds is here to help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our long-term aim is to help people become more stable, skilled and independent. Small support at the right time can change the direction of a life. That is the heart of Freshminds.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
